Hi everyone, I just came across Kevin Washington Jr.'s case, and it really struck a chord with me. The fact that someone would resort to firing through a basement window is absolutely terrifying. It feels like whoever did this had no regard for the sanctity of one's home—a place that should be safe for all of us. I can't even begin to imagine what Kevin's family is going through. I keep thinking about Kevin’s dad and that public appeal he made. It must have taken so much courage to stand there and speak out, hoping for some light in this dark time. I really wish and hope that the community rallies around them to unearth any information that could help solve this case. Gun violence is an escalating issue that’s affecting too many lives, and it’s essential we come together to demand change and justice.
