Does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating how these cases seem to just fade away without resolution? Rico Carlton's murder is another tragic reminder of the gun violence plaguing Baltimore. It feels like these incidents happen day in, day out, and yet so many of them go unsolved. I can only imagine the pain his family must be going through, not just with losing him, but also with not knowing who was responsible. It makes you wonder why there isn't more push from the community for justice – or maybe there is, but it gets lost in the noise. I know people might be scared to come forward, and that's understandable given the environment we're talking about. But it's just sad that fear can hold back justice for victims like Rico. It takes so much courage to step up, and I genuinely hope those who know something find the strength to speak out. It's tough to see how the cycle of violence continues unabated. And while the police urge for information, the lack of trust between law enforcement and communities might be a huge barrier. Do you think there's a better way the police can engage with the neighborhoods most affected, to foster a safer space for people to talk? Just throwing it out there for discussion – maybe there's hope if we keep the conversation going.
