I was reading about the tragic case of the Alexander family, and something that really stood out to me was the strength and resilience shown by Dietra Louise Alexander's brother, Kermit. It must have been unimaginably difficult for him, not only to lose so many loved ones in such a violent way but also to have the entire ordeal magnified in the public eye because of his NFL background. From what I've gathered, Kermit became an advocate for justice and against gang violence after the tragedy. It’s a powerful reminder of how some people channel their grief into advocacy, trying to prevent similar tragedies for others. My thoughts are with the whole Alexander family; their loss is an immeasurable tragedy that no family should have to endure. It's crucial that we keep talking about these issues, not just to remember those who've been lost but to work towards meaningful change. If anyone has insight into community efforts Kermit has been involved in, I’d love to hear more about it.
