I came across something interesting while looking into Arnulfo Rubio's case that I think is worth discussing. It seems like there's been ongoing debate regarding the reliability of eyewitness testimonies in Cathedral City around the time of his murder. Many residents were understandably scared to come forward, which might have impacted the investigation significantly. It's so sad to think that witnesses who could potentially provide crucial information may have felt too intimidated to speak out. It makes me wonder if the authorities back then did enough to ensure the safety of those who wanted to help but were too afraid. This must have been so difficult for Rubio’s family, knowing there might be people with answers who were too scared to share them. Does anyone know if steps have been taken in the community since then to better support potential witnesses in violent crime cases?
