Has anyone else been looking into the 1986 murder of Mary Rose Lengerich? I've been reading about her case, and one detail that stood out to me was how swiftly the police identified Danny Figueroa as the suspect. It’s baffling how a person with such a violent past was overlooked until it was too late. From what I've gathered, Figueroa had quite an alarming history. It's really concerning that someone with a record of violence and an inclination towards a “survivalist” lifestyle was able to fly under the radar. I can't help but wonder what measures, if any, were in place back then to monitor ex-convicts like Figueroa. Were there warning signs that might have prevented such a tragic incident? My heart goes out to Mary Rose’s family. I can only imagine the shock and pain they went through during that time. It's unnerving to think about how this case reflects the broader issues within the justice system. I'm curious to know if any changes or reforms came about in Redlands or California after this case. Does anybody have more information on this aspect?
