Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Gregory Smith’s case and noticed something interesting. Just before his disappearance in December 1988, Gregory was reportedly trying to turn over a new leaf after his release from prison. It's curious because some of his friends mentioned he was actively looking for work and trying to rebuild his life. Given that he hadn't been out for very long, I wonder if there are some potential job leads or contacts he might have pursued that aren’t widely discussed yet. Maybe there's a missing piece of communication or a place he frequently visited that could shed some light. Any locals from Oakland remember spots where someone in his situation might seek employment back then? Or perhaps connections to organizations helping ex-convicts reintegrate during that time?
