I've been researching the case of Mary Katherine Lowe, and one aspect that really strikes me is the lack of urgency in addressing the case sooner. Mary was found so tragically on Halloween in 1987, yet it took until 2010 to even arrest the man responsible, Lonnie David Franklin Jr. I can't help but wonder if more could have been done earlier, especially given the pattern of victims in the Grim Sleeper case. It's troubling to think about how many lives might have been spared, including Mary's, had there been better awareness and resources. My heart goes out to her family and friends who had to live without answers for so long. It's a stark reminder of the importance of advocating for thorough investigations, particularly when it comes to marginalized communities. Hoping for more lessons learned in law enforcement from this. ?
