It’s difficult to put into words the impact the Cleveland Elementary School shooting must have had on the children who survived that day in Stockton. My thoughts are with Sokhim An’s family and all the families involved. I often wonder how different their lives would have been if this tragic event had never occurred. The sheer terror and confusion those kids faced that day is unimaginable. It's important we keep supporting these families and continue advocating for stronger measures to prevent such tragedies. Their lives were forever altered, and the least we can do is make sure their stories continue to be told and contribute to meaningful change. To anyone from the community reading this, know that you’re in my thoughts, and Sokhim's life, along with the other young souls lost, will never be forgotten.
