I’ve been exploring the Crocker brothers’ case and I’m really puzzled by the timing of events. If they set sail on September 6th and had plans to be gone for 4-5 days, the fact that there were already failed contact attempts by September 7th and 9th seems odd. Was it common for them to check-in during these trips, or was there bad weather predicted that prompted concern earlier than expected? Additionally, the gap between the observed fuel spill and the discovery of Kevin’s body is interesting. Could it suggest a timeline of when the tragedy might have occurred? For anyone familiar with fishing practices or the area, are there any insights into whether the type of trip they planned would have them routinely radioing back, or was it more flexible? This case just leaves me with so many questions!
