I always think about the initial chaos that must have enveloped the Carrillo’s Club on that devastating night in '93. It's truly hard to grasp how quickly lives can change or end through acts of senseless violence. I read some articles that mentioned the courage of those who survived – it makes me wonder how they managed to get through such an ordeal. I can't imagine the trauma they faced or what haunts them even now. It's a small comfort to know the community came together during that dark time, offering support to both the victims' families and the injured. If anyone has attended memorials or events honoring Raquel and the other victims, I'd love to hear how the community continues to come together in remembrance. Every life lost deserved justice and to be remembered.
