I’ve been following the tragic case of David J. Kazdin, and something that keeps haunting me is the cold-blooded execution he suffered at the hands of Kenneth Kimes. Imagine being betrayed by people you know, threatened for standing up against wrongdoing, and then facing it all alone. It's so cruel how his life was stolen over a bank loan forgery. David was clearly a man of integrity who refused to let Sante Kimes get away with her fraudulent schemes. His brave stance against them ultimately cost him his life, and it’s deeply unsettling to think about how calculated and remorseless the Kimes duo were in planning and executing his murder. My thoughts are with David's loved ones. Losing someone you care about in such a violent and senseless way is a pain no one should have to endure. I'm reminding myself that justice was served, but the emptiness left by his absence surely lingers. I’d be interested to hear how those who knew him personally remember him, beyond this devastating incident.
