Does anyone else feel for the Diaz family and their fight for answers? Edwin's story just haunts me. I can't imagine the pain of losing a loved one so violently and then having to wait so many years without closure. It's crushing to think how common this type of crime was in neighborhoods like Boyle Heights back then. Communities like his didn't just lose a promising young man—they lost a future leader, friend, and neighbor. I wonder, do you think there's any chance that someone who witnessed what happened might come forward after all these years? Sometimes people move on, or maybe they've left the gang life and feel safer to speak out. I hope the ongoing efforts by the cold case unit bring some light to this sad chapter. Edwin deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. What keeps you hopeful about older cases like this being solved?
