I've been thinking about the people who lived near where Guillermo Lugo was shot. I'm really curious if any of the neighbors came forward with information back then or if anyone saw anything suspicious that night. It must have been so terrifying for them to hear gunshots so close to home, and I wonder if fear played a part in witnesses staying silent. It's understandable that people might be scared, but I hope if anyone does know anything, they'll find the courage to speak up now. It's sad to think that justice for Guillermo is still waiting after all these years. Does anyone know if there were any community efforts or gatherings back then to encourage people to share what they knew?
