I’ve been reading up on the tragic case of Luke Beeput, and something that strikes me is the location of the shooting. From what I’ve gathered, the 5200 block of Cuthbert Avenue was an area under police surveillance at the time. How is it possible that with cameras or some sort of monitoring in place, the case still remains unsolved? This adds another layer of frustration for Luke’s family and other families in similar situations. It’s like the technology we trust to keep us safe isn't being utilized to its full potential, or maybe there aren't enough resources to properly manage it. It’s difficult to comprehend how such violence can occur with seemingly no trace. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are left without answers. Here's hoping that one day they'll find the long-overdue justice and peace.

I keep thinking about how the Cuthbert Avenue area was under police surveillance and yet nobody saw what happened to Luke Beeput. It's terrifying to think that even with cameras around, justice can still feel so out of reach. I really feel for Luke's family and friends going through this nightmare, knowing he was taken from them in a space that was supposed to be monitored. It makes me wonder about the effectiveness of surveillance systems and whether they're really being used to their full potential. I hope that someone out there saw something or has information that could finally lead to justice for Luke and the others affected by that terrible night. How can we ensure that these surveillance tools are really helping to solve crimes?
