I can't stop thinking about the fact that Michelle was seen with Thornton and Snyder at a park campground in Riverside County. It's chilling to think that witnesses saw her and reported that there were no obvious signs of distress. It really makes me wonder about the psychological grip these monsters had on her. Being surrounded by people yet feeling completely isolated must have been terrifying for Michelle. I can't imagine how betraying and hopeless it felt for her in those moments. It's gut-wrenching to consider how easily someone can be manipulated or coerced into hiding their fear. My heart goes out to her family and friends, especially as they reflect on losing such a vibrant, loving teenager. The world needs to remember Michelle Curran's story, and we must continue to advocate for the vulnerable so no other family endures such devastation.
