Does anyone else remember reading about the candlelight vigil that was held in honor of Sergio Torres Jr. shortly after his tragic death in 2001? I came across an old newspaper clipping about it the other day, and it was deeply moving to see how the community of Paramount, CA, came together during such a difficult time. Friends, family, and community members gathered to honor Sergio's memory and show their support for his loved ones. From what I read, a lot of people spoke about Sergio's kind heart and his passion for music, which really resonated with me. It's so important that we continue to remember him and the impact he had on those around him. Justice still hasn't been served in his case, and his family deserves answers more than ever. If anyone has additional info or memories from that period, it would be great to share and keep the discussion going about how we can help bring closure to his family.
