Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging into the Cody Boyd case, and one aspect that I find really unsettling is the location of the murder—right in a barbershop in the middle of the afternoon. It makes me wonder about the psychological impact on the community and the people who were present there. The barbershop is typically a place where people feel safe, a communal gathering point. Imagine the trauma for those who witnessed it firsthand, especially in a place that's supposed to feel like a haven. My heart really goes out to them, not just to Cody's family and friends but to everyone affected that day. It's horrific to think that the violence in Baltimore that year was so rampant that such a brazen act could occur in broad daylight. Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives or support groups formed in the aftermath to help those who might still be dealing with this trauma? Such incidents leave more than just physical wounds, and healing emotionally must be incredibly challenging.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about how the community around that barbershop in East Baltimore must have felt after Cody Boyd's murder. It happened in broad daylight, in a place where people go to relax, get a haircut, and share stories. I can't even imagine how traumatizing it must have been for the people in there when those masked suspects barged in.
It’s frustrating that no immediate arrests were made, and I wonder how safe people felt returning there after such a horrific event. The barbershop, like any community hub, should be a place of safety and trust. Have there been any updates about community efforts to increase safety in that area since the incident, or how the local businesses are coping with the aftermath?
Hoping for justice and peace for Cody’s family and friends.
Stay safe, everyone.
