I’ve been following Alex Umansky’s case, and I still can’t wrap my head around how someone can be so cruel. Thinking about him being lured under false pretenses just devastates me. He was just doing his job, going about his day, and had no idea that he was being dragged into such a sinister plot. It's terrifying to think that you can just go to work one day and never come back. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who loved him. It's a small comfort knowing that justice was served, but nothing can truly make up for the loss of someone's life in such a brutal way. Does anyone know more about how Alex was as a person? I feel like honoring him by celebrating who he was might help people remember more than just the tragic way he was taken from us.

I can’t stop thinking about the sheer horror Alex Umansky must have faced in his final moments. It’s chilling to read how he was lured under the belief that he was going to install audio equipment, something he presumably did countless times in his line of work. The fact that he walked into such a trap, completely unaware and probably thinking about his usual day at work, just breaks my heart. I can only imagine the betrayal and fear he felt when he realized what was happening. How horrifying it must have been to be ambushed by people who probably pretended to be customers. My thoughts are really with his family and friends as they must relive this nightmare. I hope the ongoing discussion and awareness around this case can keep the memory of Alex and the other victims alive and help prevent similar tragedies in the future. The depth of evil in some people continues to astound me, but the resilience of the victims’ families is truly inspiring. Stay safe, everyone.
