Hello everyone, I've been reflecting on the aftermath faced by Christine McFadden, the mother of the children in the tragic Hogan case. While most of the media focus has understandably been on the tragic loss itself, I find myself thinking about the bravery and strength Christine must have shown in the aftermath. Coming home to that horrific scene and losing almost everyone she cherished in one fell swoop... I can't even begin to imagine the depth of that trauma. Losing children is an unimaginable pain, but to also have it compounded by someone you once trusted must be beyond comprehension. It’s times like these that remind us how vital it is to support survivors and ensure they're not left alone in their grief. I hope the community has continued to stand by her side in the years since, providing the strength and support she needs to continue on. If anyone knows of ways people have helped her or ways we can still offer support, it would be great to share. The mental health impact on those left behind can be profound, and it’s crucial that we don’t forget them.
