Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the Marino case, specifically about the location of the crime. It's unsettling to know that the incident happened in a residential area where families and kids are just going about their daily lives. I'd be really interested to hear if anyone in the community felt any change in their neighborhood's atmosphere after that night in 2002. Did people become more cautious? Were there any significant changes in community safety measures or local policing? It just breaks my heart for Roy's family and friends, not only having lost someone so young but also having to cope with it happening right where they live. Living with those memories every day must be incredibly tough. If only we had more information from back then, maybe things could’ve been different. It’s crucial for communities to feel safe and connected, and I hope sharing experiences about the neighborhood can somehow help in understanding what happened, or at the very least, remind everyone why these cases need to be solved. Thoughts and insights would be much appreciated. Stay safe and mindful, everyone.
