Hey everyone, I’ve been following Herbert Allen's case and can't help but think about how his story fits into this troubling pattern we see in Baltimore. It’s tragic how lives like Herbert's are caught up in such a harsh reality. We hear about these statistics all the time, but each number represents a person, a family, and a community left hurting. I hope for the sake of his loved ones that we can bring more attention to his case. What’s deeply concerning is the silence around potential suspects or motives in his murder. It leaves his family and friends without answers or a sense of closure — something no one should have to endure. I wonder if there have been any community-led efforts or vigils to remember him and bring attention back to his case? Herbert deserves more than to be a statistic. His family deserves justice and some form of peace. Sending strength and hope to everyone affected by similar tragedies.
