I'm not sure if anyone remembers the mural painted in Boyle Heights in memory of Ricardo Esparza. It was such a powerful tribute to his life and a stark reminder of the tragedy that took him away. It's been so many years, and it amazes me how art can help keep the memory of someone alive and speak volumes when words fail. I think it really shows how deeply he impacted those who knew him and how the community wants justice for him. It’s heartbreaking to see that despite such a beautiful memorial, the case still remains unsolved. I can only hope that one day, someone who knows something will find the courage to come forward, so Ricardo’s family can find the peace they deserve. Does anyone know if the mural is still there or if there are any efforts in the community to reignite interest in his case?
