I was reading up on the Harper family case, and something really stuck with me about the role that forensic entomology played in getting justice for little Marshall and his family. It's absolutely chilling how the investigators used insect evidence to disprove Vincent Brothers' alibi. From what I understand, they found dead bugs in his rental car consistent with species you’d only find if the car had been in California during the time of the murders. It’s astonishing to think that a small detail like that could unravel a carefully constructed story. My heart goes out to the families affected, especially knowing that it was someone they trusted who did this. It's a sobering reminder of how crucial those minute details are in uncovering the truth. Anyone else amazed by how meticulous these investigations can be, or does anyone know more about how common insect evidence is in cases like this?
