I came across Sergio "Keko" Sandoval's case while reading about unsolved homicides in California, and I can't stop thinking about him and his family. It's been over two decades, and I wonder if there's anyone out there with a piece of the puzzle that could bring some closure. I remember reading that he was only 15 when he was taken away so violently. It's particularly alarming to see the ongoing struggle in neighborhoods like Inglewood where young lives are often caught in the crossfire. It feels like these stories sometimes get lost in the media shuffle, overshadowed by other headlines. But that shouldn't mean Sergio's story is forgotten. Does anyone know if there's been any community efforts or local groups that have been working to push for progress on his case? I'm hoping there's still a way for the community to come together and maybe create some pressure to reopen or reinvestigate his case.
