Has anyone else thought about the long-term impact on Tran’s young child who was in the house during the shooting? I can't stop thinking about how traumatizing it must have been. This child not only lost their mother but also experienced such a violent event at such a young age. The settlement money can help in some ways, sure, but I wonder if there are support systems in place for kids who go through tragedy like this. The effects on mental and emotional health during childhood can last a lifetime. Does anyone know if there were resources or services provided for the child to help cope with this kind of trauma? It's so important to ensure they're given all the help and support they need moving forward.
