I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Yuan Li and Chenchi Wu were found. 2148 South Curtis Avenue isn’t just some anonymous spot—it’s in a neighborhood where people live their daily lives, where kids ride their bikes, and families share meals. I can’t imagine how unsettling it must be for the neighbors who knew them or even just knew of them. Every time they walk by, they’re faced with a reminder of something so unimaginable that happened right on their doorstep. I live nearby, and I can say that our community felt rocked by the news of their deaths. It’s frustrating and tragic that more than 20 years later, we’re still left with so many unanswered questions. I really hope that someone out there with even the smallest piece of information will come forward. Yuan, Chenchi, and their families deserve some peace. If anyone has any leads or even thoughts on what might help, now is the time to step up. Maybe there’s someone here who can bring a fresh perspective or remembers something that didn’t seem important back then. Here's hoping that there are still people working hard to solve this case. Justice has been a long time coming. Stay safe, everyone.
