Hey everyone, I'm new here and I've been following the case of Derrick Lamont Burt. I just can't shake this feeling of sadness and frustration knowing that his family is still without answers after all these years. I recently came across a local news article from 2003 that mentioned Derrick was on his way home from work when the tragedy occurred. It got me thinking about how many lives were affected that day. I wonder if there might have been witnesses who, for whatever reason, never came forward. It's hard to imagine the pain his family must feel every day, not having closure. I hope that by keeping the conversation alive, we can help spread awareness and maybe reach someone who knows something. Justice for Derrick and peace for his family is what we all want.
