Hi everyone,
I've been following Victor Gudino Jr.'s case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have had on his family and friends. I recently came across a report mentioning that Victor was known to be a kind and ambitious young man, with dreams of making a positive difference in his community. It's just so tragic to think about the potential and future that was stolen from him.
Does anyone have any more insight on how his family has been coping over the years? I heard that they’ve organized a few community events to keep Victor's memory alive and to speak out against the violence in their neighborhood. It's truly admirable how they have turned their grief into a force for change, but I can't imagine the pain they must live with every day. Let’s keep sharing and looking out for any updates—it feels like it's the least we can do for Victor and his loved ones.
Take care, everyone.

I recently stumbled upon some news clippings about Victor Gudino Jr.'s case and can’t get over how much this tragedy seems to have affected the entire Boyle Heights community. It’s so frustrating to think about how fear of retaliation might be stopping people from coming forward with what they know. I absolutely get why folks would be scared, but it just seems so unfair that justice is being held back because of it. I wish there was more that could be done to protect witnesses so they feel safe to speak up. Victor’s family deserves answers, and it must be so incredibly hard for them to wait all these years without closure. Does anyone know if there have been any recent community efforts or groups forming to support Victor’s family or to help overcome these barriers in other similar cases? I really hope one day we’ll see a breakthrough for the sake of Victor and his loved ones.
