I'm genuinely saddened to hear about Thomas Jr. Lee's case. What really strikes me is how the community's trust in law enforcement seems to have dwindled over time, making it so difficult for justice to be served. I can't stop thinking about the people who knew and loved him. It's infuriating and disheartening that fear of retaliation keeps so many silent, leaving families without closure. I wonder what it would take for the community to feel safe enough to come forward. It’s clear that these issues are deeply rooted and complex, but every life lost, like Thomas's, is a grim reminder of how urgently change is needed. My thoughts are with his loved ones. Has there been any movement on this case, or do any locals know if there’s talk of new initiatives?
Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the tragic case of Thomas Jr. Lee, who was shot back in 2017. It's so unnerving to consider how violent Baltimore was at that time, especially with a killer allegedly targeting a group he was hanging out with. But what really sticks with me is how cases like Thomas's often seem to stall out without enough witness cooperation. It's like there's this wall of silence—people too scared to speak out because of potential retaliation. I get it; the fear is real. But I can't help but wonder, what steps could law enforcement take to make witnesses feel safer and more willing to come forward? It feels like breaking down that barrier could make such a huge difference for the victims' families who just want answers. It's just sad and frustrating to see so many families left without closure. Sending my thoughts to all who knew him.
