Hey everyone, I was digging through some old case files and stumbled upon Betty Ann Claw's disappearance from Farmington, NM in 1996. It's really haunting how little information there's out there, isn't it? One thing that caught my attention is the fact that she wasn't reported missing until four months later. Does anyone know why there was such a delay? It seems like a huge gap where crucial information could've been gathered. Also, with her having those distinct injuries—pins in her thumb and ankles—one would think it’d help narrow down searches or spot her if she had sought medical help. Just seems like there’s more to the story we’re not seeing, or maybe some leads were missed back then. What do you all think? Any thoughts or theories? Let's put our heads together and see if we can uncover anything new.
It's baffling that Betty Ann Claw wasn't reported missing until four months after she was last seen. I'm curious why there was such a delay. Did her family think she might've just taken off for a while or was there something else going on? Delays in reporting can complicate investigations significantly, especially back in the '90s. It makes you wonder if any crucial evidence might have been lost during those months. I hope there's someone out there with even a sliver of information that could shed light on what really happened.
Has anyone else looked into the time gap between Betty Ann Claw's last sighting in August and when she was reported missing in December? It's really odd to me that such a long period passed before it was officially reported. Were there any specific reasons given by family or friends for the delay? From other cases I've seen, sometimes family members have their own reasons, but four months is a significant delay. Could this have impacted the initial investigation efforts or the evidence collection? Just wondering if there's more to this part of the story that hasn’t come to light yet. Thoughts?
