Has anyone looked into the weather conditions that day the Reeds' plane went down? I was reading about similar crashes, and it seems like unexpected weather changes over the bay might have played a role. The pilot did get recovered, but I wonder if there were any surviving records or testimonies about sudden shifts in wind or visibility. Could it be that the weather not only caused the crash but also hampered search efforts afterward? Just trying to piece together any environmental factors that might have made it more challenging to locate Beryl and Douglas. Also, with so much time passing, is there any hope of revisiting the area with new tech to search the sea floor?
