I've been following the Duane Bailey case, and one aspect I keep thinking about is the impact on those who survive such tragedies, like Glen Enriquez. Losing your vision in such a violent way must be incredibly difficult to come to terms with. I can't imagine the strength it takes to rebuild your life after experiencing something so traumatic. The community often focuses on the victims who lost their lives, which is completely understandable, but I think it's also important to remember and support those like Glen who are left living with the physical and emotional scars of that night. My heart goes out to him, as well as to the families of Duane and Sonia. It's a stark reminder of how one act of violence affects so many lives. Does anyone know if there have been efforts to support Glen or his family in the years since?
