Just joined the discussion here and wanted to bring up an aspect of Marquise Corniche Alexander's case that's been on my mind. As a mother, it’s devastating to think about how his young daughter is growing up without him. I can’t imagine what it must be like for her family, especially Marquise's mother, Stacy. The fact that she can’t even look at photos of him without immense pain is a testament to the magnitude of their loss. It’s a tragedy for any parent to outlive their child, and this senseless act of violence has stolen so much from so many people. It’s infuriating that they’ve had to wait this long without answers or justice. I truly hope with all these appeals and new leads, the LAPD and the community can work together to bring some closure to those who loved him. If anyone here has any additional insights or even theories about why the case has stalled, I’d be interested to hear them. Marquise deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
Has anyone else been following this case since it happened? I recently came across the story of Marquise Corniche Alexander, and it haunts me how unresolved this senseless act remains. He was only 22 and a father when he was killed. What stands out to me is the speculation that he was targeted because of his height. It's just so baffling and random. His family and friends have had to carry on without him, and his daughter grew up never having the chance to know her dad. I can’t even imagine how tough that must be for them.
It’s been over a decade, and yet it feels like any potential answers are still out of reach. The LAPD has tried so hard to bring this case back into the public's focus, even putting out past 911 calls and offering a reward, but something’s just missing. I’m hoping more people will come forward so that Marquise's family can find some peace. If anyone has any thoughts or theories about why this case has remained so stagnant, I’d really like to hear them. Maybe together, we can keep his memory alive and support those who loved him.
