Has anyone else been following the case of Ruben Darrel Duran in Boyle Heights? I can't help but wonder about the area where the crime took place. From what I understand, Boyle Heights has had its share of challenges in the past, and I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for the community when they learned about Ruben's tragic death. I read somewhere that the lack of witnesses has been a major hurdle. But given the close-knit nature of the community, I feel like someone must know something. Maybe they were too scared to come forward at the time. It makes me hopeful, though, that with some time passing, maybe someone’s ready to speak up now. Keeping Ruben's family in my thoughts—can't imagine the pain they're going through, and hoping they get the answers they desperately need.
