I've been thinking a lot about the protocols during the raid where Officer Sergio Carrera lost his life. It’s hard to wrap my head around how a situation went so wrong despite the involvement of multiple agencies. I know coordination in such operations is complex, but it makes me wonder if communication breakdowns or tactical missteps played a role that morning. It's a gut-wrenching thought that something like this could have maybe been avoided.
Does anyone know if there’s been any official review or changes in policy since this tragedy? I hope his family finds some comfort in improvements that might prevent future incidents. Sergio’s loss must be incredibly tough for his fellow officers and the community. Just trying to make sense of it all. Thoughts and info appreciated.
