I’ve been following Jose Palomino’s case for a while, and something that really sticks with me is how resilient his family has been in their search for justice all these years. It’s clear they’ve been put through so much, yet they never stop pushing for answers. I can't even begin to imagine the strength it must take to keep going when leads dry up and there’s no closure in sight.
I wonder if there's more that could be done in terms of community outreach. Maybe there are people who might know something but are still too afraid to come forward. Boyle Heights has changed a lot since 2008, and perhaps new community initiatives could open doors for those who’ve stayed silent for too long.
If anyone on here has connections with local organizations or knows of ongoing community programs in Boyle Heights, it might be worth seeing if they could spotlight Jose's case in any upcoming events. Keeping his name and story alive in the community could potentially reach someone who’s finally ready to speak up.
