I've been following the Jose Jorge Perez case for a while now, and it just keeps sticking with me for some reason. I was looking at the timeline again, and something struck me about the location. East Hollywood is a pretty busy area, even at night. I'm wondering if it might be worth revisiting any businesses nearby that might have had surveillance cameras back in 2008. Technology wasn't as advanced back then, but maybe there's something that was overlooked or not collected properly when the crime occurred.
It just seems like such a difficult task to accept that someone could be taken so suddenly, and the family has been waiting all these years for answers. If anyone has any new ideas or thoughts on how the community can still help, it would be amazing to see his loved ones receive some peace finally.
I’ve been following the case of Jose Jorge Perez for a while, and one aspect that keeps lingering in my mind is the location of the shooting. I've read that East Hollywood, where he was shot, has areas with a reputation for safety and others that are more prone to crime. Does anyone familiar with the area know if there's been any change or increased presence of law enforcement since 2008 due to this tragic incident or others like it?
It's incredibly distressing to think about what his family has been going through all these years without answers. I’ve seen on other forums how tricky it can be for witnesses in such neighborhoods to come forward, potentially out of fear for their safety. It makes me wonder if there've been any initiatives or support systems in place to encourage people to share what they know, without putting themselves at risk. It must be a delicate balance for everyone involved. Any insights into this would be appreciated, and I truly hope for progress in finding justice for Jose and his loved ones.
