Did anyone else come across the fact that Julie was on her way to visit a friend when this happened? It's just so disheartening to think of an ordinary day turning into such a tragedy for her and her loved ones. Being at a bus stop on a sunny afternoon should be one of the safest moments, filled with routine plans and mundane thoughts, not life-ending violence. Much respect to the investigators for piecing together the puzzle, despite the initially scarce evidence. I hope Julie’s friends and family find strength in the support and eventual justice brought by the case developments. Let's keep remembering her as more than a victim but as a person whose life was unfairly taken.

I've been following Julie Kates' case ever since news broke out about the tragedy. It's so unsettling to think that she was just going about her day, waiting at a bus stop, and her life was stolen from her in such a sudden way. My heart really goes out to her family and anyone who knew her. The fact that the suspect, Alberd Tersargyan, had a history of violence really makes me wonder how earlier interventions might have changed things. One aspect of this case that’s been on my mind lately is the timing of the arrest. It took a few months before they were able to link Tersargyan to Julie's murder, and I'm curious about what key pieces of evidence connected him to the crime. Were there witnesses who saw something that day? Or was it mainly forensic evidence that tied him to the scene? It's small comfort to know that the LAPD was persistent in connecting the dots, but it does give hope that justice will be served. I can't imagine the pain Julie's family went through during those months of uncertainty. Does anyone know if there's been any statements or interviews from her family on how they're coping or if they feel like justice has been adequately served?

Has anyone looked into Alberd Tersargyan's background before the tragic events on March 12, 2010? It seems like there might have been red flags regarding his violent behavior. I'm curious if there were opportunities to intervene before he went on to commit these heinous acts, including the murder of Julie Kates. Often, patterns of violence are not isolated events, and someone with such a history could have been on the radar before things escalated to this point. My heart goes out to Julie and all the victims' families who have been affected by this senseless violence. It’s important to consider not just what happened, but how we can prevent similar tragedies in the future. Any thoughts on how communities can better address potentially violent individuals before it's too late?
