I’ve been thinking a lot about the brave first responders who rushed to Salon Meritage that day. It must have been incredibly traumatic for them to walk into such a devastating scene. I can’t imagine how hard it is to deal with these memories and continue working in such challenging situations. My heart goes out to them, as well as the victims’ families and friends, especially those of Victoria Buzzo. She seemed like such a light in the lives of those who knew her. Does anyone know if there were any support groups or community efforts to help the responders and the victims’ families cope with this tragedy? I think discussing this could raise awareness about the need for emotional support in the wake of such terrible events.
