Has anyone else been thinking about the role of community outreach in unsolved cases like Ricardo Orozco's? It's devastating to see another life lost to senseless violence, and I can't imagine what Ricardo's family is going through, living with so many unanswered questions for over a decade. The LAPD has been asking for the public’s help for years now, but it feels like more could be done to foster a stronger relationship between law enforcement and the local community. Is there a way to create more trust so that people feel safe coming forward with information? I wonder if initiatives focused on community-building and education about how people can report tips anonymously might make a difference not just for Ricardo’s case, but for other unsolved cases too. It’s crucial for the community to come together, not just to help solve these cases, but to prevent more tragedies from happening.
