I've been following the case of Javier Amaro for a while now, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends as they wait for answers. It's incredibly difficult to imagine their pain, especially knowing that someone's unresolved murder hangs over them. One aspect that doesn't seem to get much attention is the setting of the crime—the 5200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood. I'm curious if any locals have noticed changes in that area since 2012, in terms of safety and community engagement. Has anyone stepped forward over the years to make that neighborhood safer, or perhaps any initiatives from local groups that were sparked by this tragedy? Sometimes these heartbreaking incidents can lead to broader awareness and change, but it certainly feels frustrating that justice still hasn't been served for Javier. Hoping someone, somewhere, finally comes forward with the missing piece that can bring closure to his loved ones.
