Hey everyone, I just wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind regarding Jamal Michael Terry's case. I read that despite the shooting happening in what seems like a busy area—West 147th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard—there haven't been any strong leads or witnesses to step up. It's devastating to think that Jamal's family and friends are still without answers after all this time. From what I've gathered, Jamal was loved and respected by people around him, so it's hard to understand how no one saw anything or has come forward with helpful information. I keep thinking about the fear people might feel in speaking up, but also the pressing need for justice. It's so important that we encourage anyone who knows even the smallest detail to reach out, maybe through Crime Stoppers if they're worried about staying anonymous. I can't imagine the pain Jamal's family is enduring, and I truly hope that someday, someone finds the courage to speak out so they can have some closure. If anyone here has any thoughts or updates about the case, please share. Every bit counts. Sending love and support to Jamal's family and friends.

It's been over a decade since Jamal Terry was taken from us, and the pain hasn't dulled for the Alondra Park community or his loved ones. I'm sure many of you who knew him still feel the weight of his absence every day. What truly stands out to me when I think about Jamal’s story is how someone like him, described by so many as compassionate and selfless, could be taken so senselessly. I read somewhere that evening, around 9:14 p.m., was supposed to be like any other, with Jamal just standing on the sidewalk doing something we all do—nothing out of the ordinary, just existing. That just goes to show that no one is immune to such violence, and I find myself reflecting on how ordinary moments are turned into reminders of our world's unpredictability. If anyone out there has even the smallest bit of information that might seem insignificant, please consider reaching out to the authorities. It's incredibly frustrating knowing the killer is still out there somewhere, and it's unimaginable what Jamal’s family must be feeling. We owe it to him and his memory to keep pushing for answers and justice. Let's keep the discussion alive and continue being a support system for one another.
