I’ve been following the case of the Miller family murders in Shingletown, and honestly, I can't stop thinking about the dispatcher's experience during that 911 call. It must have been incredibly disturbing to hear those horrifying sounds without being able to do anything in real-time. That feeling of helplessness is something I can’t even imagine. Knowing now that the call captured some of Sandra's last moments alongside her daughters is just devastating. My heart truly goes out to the dispatcher, as well as all the first responders who arrived at the scene. I hope they received the support they needed after encountering such a traumatic situation. This case serves as a somber reminder of how critical it is to keep pushing for better resources and training for those on the other side of the emergency calls. It's a tough job, and these individuals play a crucial role in trying to save lives, even though sometimes the outcome is still so tragic.
