I've been following the case of Lisa Florence Nave and the tragic events surrounding it. What really strikes me is the impact such a horrific event must have had on the community and everyone who cared about Lisa and Bertha Maxine Anderson. To lose someone you love in such a violent and senseless way is unimaginable. From what I've read, Lisa was a loved resident at the North Hills nursing facility. It must have been devastating for her friends and the staff there who interacted with her daily. She seemed to have formed a little family there, which makes this tragedy all the more painful for those left behind. My heart goes out to those who are still grappling with this loss even all these years later. It's important to remember the victims and the light they brought into this world, even amidst such darkness. I wonder if the facility has anything in place now to honor Lisa’s memory, or if they’ve taken steps to heal as a community. It seems like such a tight-knit place and this must have shattered their sense of peace and safety. ?
