Every time I read about Josue Barbosa Zamora's case, my heart goes out to his family and friends who are still seeking justice. I recently came across a local news article mentioning how loved ones have been holding vigils in his honor every year since his death. It's so moving to see how the community continues to remember Josue and supports his family in their pursuit of answers. I can't imagine the pain of losing someone so young to such senseless violence. It really emphasizes the need for the community to come together and work with law enforcement to find whoever is responsible. If anyone has information, even if it seems small, it could make all the difference.

I recently came across Josue Barbosa Zamora's case, and it really stuck with me. It's so devastating to think about his family and friends who are still searching for answers and closure. Josue was only 19, with what I've read was such a bright future ahead. The fact that he was targeted makes it even more chilling and disheartening. It's been nearly a decade, and there doesn’t seem to be much progress with identifying who did this. I wish there was more information available or even a new spark in public interest that could help. Community support and vigilance can truly make a difference in these cases. I hope the East Palo Alto Police Department is still actively seeking leads, and maybe even someone from the community will come forward with the piece of information that finally brings justice for Josue. For those familiar with cases in East Palo Alto, does anyone know if there have been any renewed efforts or community initiatives focused on reducing gun violence these past few years? It seems imperative that we all continue to push for safer neighborhoods in honor of victims like Josue.
