I recently came across the case of Hyden Moya and Joseph Michael Molina, and it’s been on my mind a lot. It’s so hard to fathom how a young person’s life can be taken so suddenly. I’ve been thinking about how incredibly strong their families must be—constantly reaching out to detectives and advocates in the hope of finally getting some answers. It must be unimaginably difficult day in and day out, not knowing who did this to their loved ones. One thing I noticed is the effort the families have made to circulate flyers in the community. It’s such a powerful display of determination to keep the memory and attention on Hyden and Joseph alive. Hopefully, these ongoing efforts will encourage someone who knows something to come forward. If the right person sees one of those flyers, maybe it could be the break needed to finally bring some measure of justice. I keep hoping that there will come a break in the case that can finally bring peace to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy. Sending thoughts to all who knew Hyden and Joseph, and hoping they find the answers they’ve been seeking.
