I've been following Rick Zetino's case from the sidelines, and I can't help but think about the location of the crime. It's unnerving to know that this tragic incident happened in a college parking lot, a place meant for learning and growth. It makes me wonder about the random nature of choosing such a spot for something so sinister. I've walked through that lot many times in the past, and it's eerily quiet during off-hours. It seems like it was chosen simply because no one would be around, but it chills me to think of how easily these things can happen in seemingly ordinary spaces. My heart goes out to Rick's loved ones—may they find the strength to navigate this unimaginably difficult time. It's a reminder for all of us about the unexpected risks lurking in familiar places. Stay safe, everyone.

I've been following the case of Ricardo Zetino and something that's been weighing on my mind is the impact this tragedy had on the Los Angeles Valley College community. Even though classes weren't in session when the shooting occurred, I can only imagine how unsettling it must have been for students and faculty to learn about such a violent incident happening right on their campus grounds. College is supposed to be a place of learning and growth, not fear and danger. My heart truly goes out to the students who might feel anxious returning to campus. I hope the college has provided counseling services to those affected and has taken steps to ensure the safety and security of everyone in the college community. It’s such a sad reminder of how violence can invade spaces where we least expect it.
