I've been following the case of Jacob Velasquez, and I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through. What's really puzzling to me is the role of the second suspect Jonathan Rhone mentioned. I've read a lot about how Rhone eventually admitted to tampering with evidence, but the question of whether someone else was involved seems to have faded into the background. Why wasn't there more of an investigation into the possibility of a second person being involved? The vagueness surrounding this part of the case only adds to the confusion and grief for those who cared about Jacob. He was just starting a new chapter in his life with the fire department, and it's incredibly sad that his potential was cut short. Does anyone else have insights or thoughts on why the second suspect angle wasn't pursued more aggressively?
