I've been thinking a lot about the Denny's parking lot where Charles Edward Bell II lost his life. It’s terrifying to think that something like this could happen in a place as everyday as a parking lot. It makes you wonder if this particular location was targeted for a reason or if it was truly a random spot for such violence. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have to drive by there, knowing what happened to their loved one. It's so important that we stay alert in familiar places and support the police in any way we can. Maybe someone saw something that night and, even if it seems small, it could be a piece of the puzzle. Let's hope that justice can be served for Charles.
