Hi everyone, I’ve been following Maurice Marshall’s case for some time now, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on his loved ones. I know we've discussed the crime itself and the investigation, but has anyone heard from the community in Vermont Square? It makes me wonder what kind of support systems are there for neighborhoods dealing with the aftermath of such violence. Neighborhoods that experience these kinds of incidents seem to hold so much pain, but also resilience. I've read that local groups sometimes hold vigils or events to remember victims and support their families. I hope the community around West 50th Street is rallying together to support Maurice's family and to encourage those who might know something to come forward. Maybe another way we can help is by focusing on how these communities can heal and push for change to prevent more tragedies like this. If anyone has information about local efforts or know more about community responses, feel free to share. In the meantime, let’s continue to support the victims and their families in any way we can. They really deserve answers and peace. Stay safe, everyone.
